Riedel Intermediate course follows on from the Riedel Basic course.

Overview: Riedel Intermediate Course
- Revision of Basic Course Major Points
- Basic Structure of an Riedel talkback Matrix ( card, controllers, I/O structure )
- Understand the way data is used in an Riedel matrix (AES embedded )
- Understand the specific requirements of interconnection of remote Panels in Riedel
- Develop knowledge of the Director matrix programming software (matrix configuration, panel key assignment, Fibre structures)
- Develop knowledge of I/O Gain structure, both externally and within the Matrix
- Develop knowledge of Groups, Conferences, and call to port functions, the difference between them and their specific uses
- Understand the need for, and usage of Vox generated signalization in an Artist System
- Develop knowledge of the interconnection options of an Artist System.
- Identify the types & resource level of talkback equipment required for a specific production.
- Remotely install, set up, test and check and fault find a remote talkback panel.
- Demonstrate editing communications matrix programming file to suit specific program requirements.
- Demonstrate saving & loading of edited programming files.
- Demonstrate testing & monitoring of communications matrix crosspoint.
