Riedel Intermediate course follows on from the Riedel Basic course.

  • Overview: Riedel Intermediate Course
    • Revision of Basic Course Major Points
    • Basic Structure of an Riedel talkback Matrix ( card, controllers, I/O structure )
    • Understand the way data is used in an Riedel matrix (AES embedded )
    • Understand the specific requirements of interconnection of remote Panels in Riedel
    • Develop knowledge of the Director matrix programming software (matrix configuration, panel key assignment, Fibre structures)
    • Develop knowledge of I/O Gain structure, both externally and within the Matrix
    • Develop knowledge of Groups, Conferences, and call to port functions, the difference between them and their specific uses
    • Understand the need for, and usage of Vox generated signalization in an Artist System
    • Develop knowledge of the interconnection options of an Artist System.
    • Identify the types & resource level of talkback equipment required for a specific production.
    • Remotely install, set up, test and check and fault find a remote talkback panel.
    • Demonstrate editing communications matrix programming file to suit specific program requirements.
    • Demonstrate saving & loading of edited programming files.
    • Demonstrate testing & monitoring of communications matrix crosspoint.
