If you are regularly employed as a Camera Operator or other Tech/Vision roles in the Television industry and have 2 years experience the TTOC Camera Control Unit – Intermediate course will raise your qualifications to that of CCU Operator.

Your expert trainer will be a highly reputable industry Technical Director and Vision specialist. The training you will receive will be on the latest technology employed by the Television broadcast industry.

The specific training is set and endorsed by the Television Industry Advisory Group (refer to Endorsements)

 

What will I get out of this?

On successfully completing the CCU – Intermediate course you will receive a Television Industry recognised TAFE certificate.

The graduate should be qualified to take a CCU position subject to experience and the project involved.

 

What equipment will I use?

Sony HDC 1500 camera chains with Canon HD lenses, Sony RCP 750, Sony MSU and SD camera chains with box lenses. Training includes basic daily camera line up procedure; advanced line ups; fault identification and remedy; camera systems; MSU operation.

 

Entry requirements

Applicants must have 2 years experience in Camera/Vision operations and completed Broadcast Operations (2) module or equivalent.

 

How often do the courses run?

Courses are one month long, starting April 2010, and will run frequently until the last intake for 2010 in October. Alternatively, the course will be run over 5 months, 1 day per week, starting April 2010.

 

What will it cost?

The cost of this specialised course is $1950.
