If you are regularly employed within the Television industry and have 2 years experience as an EVS Operator (Alpha Seat 1), the TTOC EVS Intermediate to Advanced course will raise your qualifications to that of Senior EVS Operator (Bravo and Charlie, X- File application with advanced functions and IP Director.)
Your expert trainer will be a highly reputable industry Senior EVS Operator. The training you will receive will be on the latest technology employed by the Television broadcast industry.
The specific training is set and endorsed by the Television Industry Advisory Group (refer to Endorsements).
What will I get out of this?
On successfully completing the EVS Intermediate to Advanced course you will receive a Television Industry recognised TAFE certificate.
The graduates of the EVS Intermediate to Advanced course should be qualified to take an EVS Charlie - Senior position subject to experience and the project involved.
This course is designed for the Industry Operator currently sitting in an EVS Alpha seat (1) or equivalent and wants to move closer to an EVS senior role. The areas covered are EVS Alpha, Bravo and Charlie, X- File application with advanced functions and IP Director.
Entry Requirements
Two years experience in an EVS Alpha position plus you must have completed VTR/ EVS Basics module or equivalent.
How often do the courses run?
Courses are one month long, starting April 2010, and will run frequently until the last intake for 2010 in October. Alternatively, the course will be run over 5 months, 1 day per week, starting April 2010.
What will it cost?
The cost of this specialised course is $1950.
