If you are regularly employed within the Television industry and have 2 years experience as a Switcher/CG Operator or in other Tech/Vision roles, the TTOC Vision Switching – Intermediate course will raise your qualifications to that of Vision Switcher/Asst Director.
Your expert trainer will be a highly reputable industry Senior Vision Switcher. The training you will receive will be on the latest technology employed by the Television broadcast industry. The specific training is set and endorsed by the Television Industry Advisory Group (refer to Endorsements).
The course will be based on Sony MVS8000/ DVE9000 vision switchers and take the student from basic operations through to intermediate level of operation.
What will I get out of this?
On successfully completing the Vision Switcher – Intermediate course you will receive a Television Industry recognised TAFE certificate.
The graduates of the Vision Switching Intermediate course should be qualified to take a Switcher, Switcher/ Director position subject to experience and the project involved.
Entry Requirements
Two years experience in switching plus you must have completed Broadcast Operator - Intermediate or equivalent.
How often do the courses run?
Courses are one month long, starting April 2010, and will run frequently until the last intake for 2010 in October. Alternatively, the course will be run over 5 months, 1 day per week, starting April 2010.

The cost of this specialised course is $1950.
